Job Description
The Group Exercise Instructor is responsible for conducting, teaching, and leading classes while establishing a safe and effective group exercise environment and delivering an outstanding member experience at the Tom & Ann Hunnicutt YMCA.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Nationally YMCA recognized Group Exercise (GE) certification
  • YMCA Healthy Lifestyles (HLP) certification within first 6 months of employment
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED/O2
  • Complete and maintain required trainings (e.g. New Employee Orientation, Bloodborne Pathogens, Child Abuse Prevention, Sexual Harassment)
  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check and Child Protective Services check
