Teach and lead group exercise classes, prepare and choreograph classes, ensure equipment and supplies are accessible, and maintain a safe and effective group exercise environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a nationally YMCA recognized Group Exercise certification, obtain YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 6 months, and commit to continuing education to maintain certification.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Nationally YMCA recognized Group Exercise certification
- YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 6 months
- Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED/O2
- Completion of required trainings (NEO, Bloodborne Pathogens, CAP, and Sexual Harassment)
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check and Child Protective Services check
