Role OverviewProvides psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, group facilitation, and case management services in a community health center. Works collaboratively with other mental health and medical providers.
What You Will Do
Provides individual, group, and family therapy, prepares treatment plans, and case management. Collects data, evaluates root causes of problems, and determines proper therapeutic approach or referral.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent licensure
- Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments
- Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress
- Knowledge and understanding of clinical social work and mental health counseling
- Interviewing and psychological/developmental evaluation skills
- Knowledge of clinical operations and compliance guidelines
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Ability to maintain emotional stability during crisis or emergent situations
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
- Ability to evaluate the progress of therapeutic interventions and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to patients' rights in MA
- Ability to lead and train staff and/or students
