Role OverviewThe Group Leader will work collaboratively with the Site Director and Assistant Director to provide activities for children, youth, adults, and seniors. The Group Leader will be responsible for supervision and running a classroom(s) with the assistance of an activity specialist. The Group Leader will also be responsible for knowledge and compliance of all DOH, DYCD, DOE, and BCS health and safety protocols.
What You Will Do
The Group Leader will develop and plan community events for children, parents, and community. They will also be responsible for taking daily attendance and entering attendance into the DYCD database. The Group Leader will oversee and monitor authorized parental/guardian drop off and pick up of children following all health and safety protocols.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The Group Leader must enjoy working with children and be able to pass a background check. A background in sports, music, drama, dance, photography, crafts, sewing, or the arts is a plus.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Some college education preferred
