Role OverviewThe Group Leader will work under the supervision of the Program Director to develop and implement lesson plans, facilitate daily activities, and maintain a safe and supportive environment for children. The role requires knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices, as well as strong social and emotional maturity and behavioral management skills.
What You Will Do
The Group Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, facilitating daily activities, maintaining active supervision of children, and documenting student attendance and behavior incidents. They will also collaborate with program peers, site supervisors, and school staff, and ensure classrooms are organized and well-maintained.

Requirements
- At least two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years old
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Current CPR/first aid/AED certification or willingness to complete this training/certification within 6 months of hire
- Age 18 or older
- Knowledge of the principles of positive youth development
- Strong social and emotional maturity and behavioral management skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Arabic and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) or Spanish preferred
