Role OverviewThe Group Leader will design and lead diverse enrichment activities for youth in the South Bronx. The role requires experience working with elementary schools in a diverse urban community. The Group Leader will work as part of a collaborative team, providing support to specialists and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of participants. The position involves leading activities in areas such as civic engagement, music, visual arts, martial arts, media technology, dance, sports, and recreation.
What You Will Do
The primary responsibilities of the Group Leader include identifying, creating, and facilitating age-appropriate lesson plans and activities, working as part of a team, preparing the learning environment, building positive relations with youth and adults, ensuring participant health and safety, and maintaining accurate program documentation.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Some college preferred
- Minimum of two years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience required
