Job Description
We're seeking a Group Sales Manager to join the hotel's Sales team. The role will focus on pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, while also targeting corporate group opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hotel sales process and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
Minimum of two years of hotel sales experience
Pharmaceutical and/or healthcare group sales experience
Experience selling corporate group business, especially within finance and insurance sectors
Strong understanding of the group sales process, account management, prospecting, and customer relationship management
Proven ability to solicit, qualify, negotiate, and close group business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation, proposal-writing, and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Comfortable working with sales systems, lead platforms, RFP tools, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office
Ability to travel for client appointments, business development, and tradeshows
Self-motivated, competitive, professional, and goal-oriented
Remote-based candidates must be located in Northeast U.S. states, as required
