Job Description
The GSE/Diesel Mechanic Level 3 is responsible for repairing and rebuilding airport service vehicles, inspecting and identifying defective parts, and making repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. This role requires a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2-4 years of Diesel Mechanic experience.

Requirements

  • Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles
  • Make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on the refueling equipment
  • Maintain records relating to maintenance
  • Ensure our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventative care to equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment
  • Hydrate electric equipment according to the Hydration Schedule
  • Able to program and understand the functions of the Rapid Charger
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on the equipment
  • Able to perform an accident inspection on involved equipment
