Role Overview

The Guest Experience Agent is responsible for providing outstanding service to hotel guests, including registration and check-out, PBX operations, mail and message service. The role requires creativity, self-leadership, and a knack for making others' lives better. The agent will act as an advocate for the hotel, develop relationships with guests, and compel them to return.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing arrivals, checking in and out guests, answering phone calls, completing checklists, conducting room assignments, following key control policy, and monitoring room availability. The agent will also communicate with other departments, attend department meetings, and review daily selling status of the hotel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role is preferred
  • Knowledgeable of immediate area, services, attractions, and events
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Work well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time
  • Familiar with hotel systems and operations, and the ability to enter in information accurately
