Role Overview

As a Guidance Navigation Control (GNC) Engineer, you will be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. You will be part of the Northrop Grumman Space Sector team, designing, building, and testing spacecraft subsystems for a mix of DoD, NASA, and commercial customers.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include designing, analyzing, and tuning spacecraft attitude and position control loops, designing and analyzing relative guidance solutions for Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO), and performing analysis to support early design phase concept development.

Requirements

  • Active/current U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret (TS) security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant engineering experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of a completed degree)
  • Experience developing software in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++
  • Experience in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) subsystem design, analysis, and testing
