Role OverviewJoin Capgemini as a Guidewire Developer to design, develop, and support Guidewire PolicyCenter applications and integrations. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver scalable insurance solutions. The role requires strong experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter Development, proficiency in Gosu and Java programming, and knowledge of J2EE Application Servers, RDBMS, and Middleware platforms.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, and support Guidewire PolicyCenter applications and integrations, configure and enhance workflows, business rules, batch processes, plugins, and web services, develop and maintain integrations using Guidewire Integration Framework, XML, Messaging, and APIs, perform unit testing (GUnit/JUnit), troubleshooting, bug fixes, and code reviews.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience designing reusable APIs, adapters, and integration components, exposure to Guidewire upgrades and multi-tier application architectures, and the ability to lead development teams and work across onshore/offshore teams. Guidewire certifications are preferred.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter Development
- Proficiency in Gosu and Java programming
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Integrations, Web Services, XML, Messaging, and Batch Processing
- Knowledge of J2EE Application Servers, RDBMS, and Middleware platforms (MuleSoft, WebMethods, WebSphere ESB, etc.)
- Good understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance and policy administration processes
- Experience with Agile methodologies, source control, and release management
