Job Description
Operates one or more machines and performs manufacturing duties as assigned, uses basic mechanics' tool set, and reflects and embraces Vertiv's Values and Behaviors.

Requirements

  • Operates one or more of the following machines: fin press, fin power, brake, vertical/horizontal expander, overhead crane, hairpin machine, pemsert, riveting, spot weld, gasket machine, and paint system.
  • Uses basic mechanics' tool set, ratchets, wrenches, air tools, pliers, hammers, adjustable wrenches, screwdrivers, and channel locks.
  • Uses tape measure, and manual and digital calipers.
  • Checks parts using appropriate gauges.
  • Uses calculator to perform 2 and 3 place decimal calculations.
  • Changes out machine parts to achieve proper operation and configuration.
