Job Description
A Hand Therapist works with patients who have conditions affecting the hands and upper extremities, rehabilitating them to hasten their return to a productive lifestyle. Evaluates and treats patients through postoperative rehabilitation, preventative, non-operative, or conservative treatment, or industry consultation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree from an accredited OT or PT program
  • Licensed by the state of Massachusetts as a OT or PT with advanced certification or eligibility for Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
  • 2-3 years of related experience
