Role OverviewROHM Semiconductor USA is seeking an energetic and motivated new graduate as a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Engineer. HDD engineering involves a multidisciplinary approach, combining mechanical, electrical, material, and control engineering principles to develop and support reliable and high-performance data storage devices. This position is in Orange County, California and is an on-site position 5 days per week.
What You Will Do
Perform electronic bench testing of silicon devices to verify functionality, performance, and compliance with electrical specifications. Provide on-site engineering support at customer's site working directly with customer's hardware and firmware teams, and support system integration of silicon devices with different product lines per customer application requirements. Conduct design review meetings with customer and silicon design team, perform investigative analysis of design issues, failure analysis, failure reproduction, root cause analysis, and report generation.

Requirements
