Hardware Design Engineer Co-op

Join Samtec's team as a Hardware Design Engineer Co-op, working closely with Signal Integrity engineers to design and develop next-gen hardware. This position involves brainstorming, designing, and testing electronic hardware, collaborating with various teams, and overseeing manufacturing and assembly.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include brainstorming preliminary concepts, designing and developing PCBs, collaborating with Signal Integrity engineers, working with software engineers, documenting test plans, and testing and bring-up of systems.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven and passionate electrical engineer with strong communication skills, quick learning ability, and good problem-solving skills. Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, as well as electrical lab test equipment, is a plus.
