Job Description
The Hardware Technician II is an intermediate-level position responsible for the disassembly, repair, overhaul, modification, alignment, assembly, and diagnostic evaluation of mechanical systems and trainer devices.

Requirements

  • Independently performs operational diagnostics of complete trainer systems
  • Disassembles and inventories mechanical components and systems
  • Utilizes hand tools, calibrated instruments, and power tools
  • Reworks components such as hydraulic/pneumatic actuators, valve assemblies, and pumps
  • Aligns and positions subassemblies using measuring tools and blueprint references
  • Determines repair requirements using applicable technical manuals (TMs)
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
