Role OverviewHatchery Laborers perform various tasks such as washing flats, transporting equipment, sanitizing equipment, setting eggs, and transferring eggs. They work in a wet and humid environment with temperatures up to 99 degrees Fahrenheit.
What You Will Do
Daily tasks include washing and sanitizing equipment, setting eggs, and transferring eggs. Laborers must be able to lift 30-pound egg trays and work at heights above their head.
Requirements
- Continuous standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Pinch grip, back extension/flexion, and/or shoulder extension/flexion
- Hearing protection, slip resistant shoes, steel toe shoes, and cotton gloves
