Role OverviewThe Head Custodian is responsible for ensuring an attractive, sanitary, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. They oversee and support assigned custodians in the performance of their assignments.
What You Will Do
The Head Custodian will be responsible for lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, quickly moving their hand and arm, and exerting themselves physically over long periods of time.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school (or G.E.D.)
- 2 years of professional cleaning experience in a public service institution
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects
- Ability to exert yourself physically over long periods of time
- Ability to quickly and repeatedly bend, stretch, twist or reach out with your body, arms and/or legs
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the United States at time of application
