Job Description
The State of Connecticut is seeking a Head Nurse to lead the nursing office in a dynamic technical high school environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and experience working with adolescents.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license in Connecticut or Multistate/Compact Registered Nurse license
  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing may be substituted for 1 year of experience
  • Experience working as a School Nurse in a high school setting with the adolescent population
  • Experience in behavioral health
  • Experience serving as a member of a Crisis Intervention Team, Health and Safety Committee, or Student Assistance Team
