Job Description
Zipline is seeking a Head of System Modeling to lead a team of engineers in developing physics-based models to architect and optimize aircraft and logistics systems. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience building mathematical models and modeling frameworks, as well as strong leadership attributes.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience building mathematical models and modeling frameworks
  • Deep programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or Rust
  • An understanding of numerical methods
  • Experience integrating simulation tools across platforms and software languages
  • Mastery of engineering and physics fundamentals
  • Experience in fleet-level simulations and optimization
