Role OverviewAssist classroom staff in implementing individualized goals and objectives for children with special needs. Observe and record behavioral data, communicate with staff and parents, and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
What You Will Do
Adapt activities, promote communication and socialization, perform care-giving activities, implement behavior management techniques, and observe and record child progress.

Requirements
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or enrolled in a CDA credential program
- College degree from an accredited institution or enrolled in a program leading to a degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), child development (CD), or related field
- Ability to closely monitor and supervise special needs children
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to respond to behavioral issues with appropriate behavior management processes
