Job Description
The Health Actuary is responsible for performing as the lead Health Practice technical resource, providing expertise in areas including modeling development and evaluation, rate setting, reserve calculations, and plan/design analysis. The actuary will work closely with other Health consultants to service client needs, build and maintain effective collaborative working relationships, and support actuarial consulting projects.

Requirements

  • Actuary with 6 or more years of health actuarial experience and preferably at least 7-10 years of health and welfare managed care experience
  • Holds an ASA or FSA credential or has credit for 5 or more SOA courses
  • Demonstrated project management experience/skills
  • Effective communicator (oral/written)
  • Collaborative work ethic
