Role OverviewAs a Health and Wellbeing Coach, you will serve and build relationships with members who struggle to maintain a healthy lifestyle, guiding and directing them through YMCA programs.
What You Will Do
Deliver equipment orientations, teach and demonstrate proper form and technique, assist with personalized workout routines, and ensure established safety guidelines are followed.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or two years of related knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of basic health and fitness principles and components, exercise prescriptions, and strength training machines
- Ability to set an excellent example in health, fitness, and member service
- Experience coaching and/or teaching group exercise classes
- YMCA Foundations of Strength and Conditioning and/or Foundations of Group Exercise certification, or equivalent certification
- Positive attitude with experience working with diverse populations
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to pass Background and Reference checks
