Role OverviewThe Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for providing onsite health and safety support during the construction and operations of a 140-acre laydown yard in Abilene, Texas. This role requires expertise in OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 standards to ensure a seamless transition from construction through commissioning and into long-term operations.
What You Will Do
Conduct regular site inspections and audits, facilitate daily safety briefings, document and report incidents, and lead Root Cause Analysis efforts. Develop safety performance metrics, train operations personnel, and analyze safety performance metrics to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Health and Safety management systems or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in construction and operational safety, preferably in industrial, energy infrastructure, or data center environments
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 standards
- Proficient in root cause analysis methodologies and corrective/preventive action planning
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred)
- Professional certification(s) such as Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) — highly desirable
