Role OverviewThe Health & Safety Manager leads Health and Safety programs for the Lompoc operation, responsible for regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement in site safety performance. This role is based in Sylacauga, Alabama, and involves working closely with operations, maintenance, and employees to identify hazards and improve work practices.
What You Will Do
Key tasks and responsibilities include becoming a subject matter expert on Imerys' protocols, overseeing industrial hygiene and safety programs, maintaining a strong field presence, compiling and analyzing statistical data, and preparing and submitting safety and environmental reports.
