Role OverviewThe HSN Fiscal Policy Analyst serves as a policy, fiscal, and operational resource for the HSN Fiscal Operations team, supporting the administration and continuous improvement of a complex public health care financing program. The position applies policy analysis and project management skills to evaluate how statutory, regulatory, programmatic, and operational changes affect HSN fiscal operations; identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement; and develop recommendations to strengthen payment accuracy, reporting, stakeholder support, and program administration.
What You Will Do
Support the administration of the HSN Fiscal Operations team in the areas of accounting, payment processing, fiscal analysis, policy implementation, data collection, and daily operations. Record, track, and reconcile HSN transactions by HSN Fiscal Year to ensure alignment with the Commonwealth’s accounting system. Analyze hospital, Community Health Center, cost report, payment, and other provider data to support policy development, operational improvements, and fiscal decision-making.
