Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Health & Safety Senior Engineer to join our team at our large food factory in Cairo, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all health and safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

Requirements

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks and implement corrective actions
  • Train and educate employees on health and safety protocols and procedures
  • Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement measures to prevent reoccurrence
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in health and safety regulations and ensure compliance
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency response plans
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure health and safety measures are integrated into all processes
  • Manage and maintain all health and safety records and documentation
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and provide reports to management on safety performance
  • Implement and maintain a safety culture within the organization
  • Coordinate with external agencies and authorities on health and safety matters
