Role OverviewThe Health & Wellness Specialist provides fitness equipment orientations, promotes YMCA health and wellness services, maintains and cleans equipment, and enforces recreation guidelines.
What You Will Do
Demonstrates proper equipment use and exercise form, monitors member activities, maintains areas in clean fashion, provides member service, gives tours, handles complaints, stays current with advances in the health and wellness field, and sets up equipment for group exercise and sports activities.

Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Health and wellness related degree or certification
- CPR, AED, Oxygen and First Aid Certification
- Blood Borne Pathogen training
- State of Michigan criminal background clearance (ICHAT)
