Role OverviewThe Associate position within Frantz Ward works closely with Senior Associates, Partners, and clients to address the complex legal and business needs of healthcare providers and other organizations operating in the healthcare industry.
What You Will Do
The Associate will assist clients with a variety of healthcare regulatory, transactional, compliance, and corporate matters and will conduct research and analyze legal and regulatory issues to provide practical, business-focused advice.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience working with healthcare providers, healthcare organizations, or other clients operating in highly regulated industries, with a preference for experience with healthcare regulatory matters, compliance, provider contracting, HIPAA and privacy matters, fraud and abuse laws, or healthcare transactions.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably involving healthcare law, healthcare regulatory matters, corporate transactions, compliance, or other relevant experience
- Knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws and regulations preferred
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership and good standing with the Ohio Bar, or eligibility to become admitted in Ohio
