Job Description
The Heat Treat Inspector will operate and assist in the functions of heat-treating pipe material, ensuring a safe and compliant operation, and maintaining good housekeeping ethics. The inspector will assist in the verification and recording of production and findings, and will be responsible for the production of a prime heat-treated material in conformance to the required specification.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year's experience or on-the-job training
  • Knowledge of the OCTG pipe inspection industry
  • Ability to lift 25/50 pounds
  • Ability to respond quickly to sounds
  • Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
  • Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
  • Ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds
  • Ability to work in loud, hot environments/extreme weather while wearing required PPE
