Role OverviewMustang Cat is hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians to support shop and field service operations in Beaumont, Texas. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you'll inspect, diagnose, and repair Caterpillar construction equipment that powers infrastructure and job sites across Southeast Texas.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing heavy and light construction equipment, performing preventative maintenance, part installation, and rebuilds, and troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems using Cat ET.

Requirements
- Must own proper tools to perform repairs
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems
- Working knowledge of transmissions, undercarriage, and track systems
- Experience using Cat ET or other diagnostic software
- Prior earthmoving equipment or military mechanic experience
- Ability to work independently in a shop or field setting
