Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

Seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment, trucks, cranes, trailers, and other motorized equipment. Travel to other locations or field assignments may be required for repairs and maintenance.

What You Will Do

Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, and other motorized equipment. Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to repair needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of maintenance experience with heavy equipment and/or track equipment, trailers, cranes, or similar machinery.
• 5+ years of experience in at least two technical areas, such as: Hydraulics, Electronics, Small engines, Air conditioning, Other related mechanical systems.
• High school diploma/GED plus trade school, dealership/factory service training, or equivalent diesel mechanical training and experience.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize urgent repairs, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Professional certifications related to heavy equipment maintenance are preferred.
