Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Nights

Requirements

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy equipment
• Perform detailed equipment inspections and preventative maintenance following OEM specifications
• Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to accurately assess equipment condition and repair needs
• Complete work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance records with attention to detail and accuracy
• Perform welding or fabrication repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store tools and equipment
• Respond to emergency breakdowns in the field or yard as needed
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and other team members regarding equipment status and required repairs
• Ensure compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures
• Assist in delivering required training to ensure that all co-workers have the necessary skills to perform their jobs properly and safely
• Participate in special projects or other work as assigned
