Job Description
We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic II to perform inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, including semi-tractors, trailers, heavy equipment, and machinery. The ideal candidate will have one plus year of related diesel mechanic or military training, knowledge of welding and torching, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • One plus year of related diesel mechanic or related military training
  • Knowledge of welding and torching helpful, but not necessary
  • Mathematical and mechanical aptitude
  • Related experience and knowledge of the methods, materials tools and techniques used in repairing semi tractors & trailers
  • Strong communication skills, effective communicator
  • Proven ability to work alone or in a team setting
  • Attention to accuracy and detail
  • Demonstrated safety consciousness
  • Relevant Military experience
