Role OverviewThe Heavy Equipment Mechanic will perform troubleshooting, disassembly, checking and cleaning, repairing, replacing, testing, adjusting, assembling, installing, servicing, fabricating, or towing any ground equipment while in service or while undergoing overhaul and/or modification. The role requires working according to Company regulations and procedures and instructions from lead, supervisor or general manager.
What You Will Do
Conduct regular inspection, preventative maintenance, and repairs on ground support equipment, including but not limited to baggage loaders, tow tractors, pushback tractors, portable power units, and forklifts. Utilize fleet management software to record all maintenance and repair activities.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and work from diagrams, ability to work with color coded wires, and ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a 10-year Background check to obtain an Airport Badge
- Ability to read and work from diagrams
- Diesel experience
- Ability to work with color coded wires
