Job Description
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at REMPREX, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy equipment such as forklifts, manlifts, hostlers, reach stackers, front and side loaders, cranes, etc. You will also be required to perform preventative maintenance, complete work orders and inspection reports, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or diesel technician
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
  • Mechanical aptitude with a strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical and hydraulic schematics, and diagnostic codes
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. climb, bend, and work in the presence of loud machinery in various outdoor conditions and at elevated heights
