Role OverviewThis position is responsible for operating Heavy Equipment in our alternative engineered fuel facility in Gray Court, SC, First shift. Ensures Health & Safety is the number one priority by following all company policies, procedures, and safe work practices. Operates a variety of heavy equipment, including forklifts, loaders, excavators, skid steers, telehandlers, and other machinery, as needed to safely handle, move, load, and unload materials and waste.
What You Will Do
Performs daily inspections, pre-operation checks, and preventive maintenance (PM) on all assigned heavy equipment. Loads and unloads waste materials in accordance with Company, federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations. Monitors and operates assigned equipment safely and efficiently to maintain production flow and prevent downtime.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of shipping receiving and warehouse experience, a valid Driver License, and the ability to work well with others. Must be able to lift up to 75lbs, climb, balance, bend, stoop, crawl, stand, sit, push, and pull. Ability to operate Forklift/heavy equipment is required.
