Role OverviewOperates heavy equipment to complete construction, maintenance, and repair activities in support of department activities. Performs various duties in support of department activities, including equipment operation, maintenance, and repair. Reports to Supervisor in area of assignment.
What You Will Do
Operates heavy equipment such as a motor grader, backhoe, front end loader, multi-axle trucks, dump trucks, garbage trucks, snow plow, brush truck, and other related equipment to complete construction, maintenance, repair, and installation activities. Performs routine maintenance of equipment, such as changing oil, refueling, refilling lubricants, etc.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two years of experience in heavy equipment operation
- Valid South Carolina Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Plastic Fusion certification (depending on area of assignment)
