Role OverviewOperates cranes and performs associated rigging in support of refinery maintenance work. Required to certify in fixed and swing cab cranes. Performs inspection of cranes, rigging equipment, etc. and ensures proper documentation is maintained.
What You Will Do
Operates forklift, manlift, backhoe, skid steer, manlift, scissor lift, etc. in support of maintenance and operations activities. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.

Interfaces/communicates in a positive teamwork fashion with craft persons, operators, contractors, supervision and support staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum five years of crane experience required.
- Current Maintenance Technician classification preferred.
- Required to train and certify as a Maintenance Technician within 18 months in Transportation Tech Requirements as outlined in the Craft Promotion and Training Policy Transportation Skills (ie: all cranes above 15 tons).
- Current applicable swing cab crane license required (includes rigging for crane lifts, and inspection of cranes and rigging equipment).
- Forklift experience is required.
- A working knowledge of vehicle and equipment repairs/preventive maintenance (hydraulic and cooling systems, oil changes, brakes, electrical troubleshooting, tire repairs, etc.) preferred.
- Backhoe/skip loader operation, preferred.
