Job Description
Academy Bus is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to support IT systems administration, infrastructure, and end-user support across our Northeast locations.
Requirements
Strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software
Experience setting up and supporting Windows desktop systems
Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness and openness to learning new technologies
Experience with some or all of the following technologies: Windows network environment (on-premises Active Directory), Microsoft Office 365, Cisco routers, firewalls, switches, and VPN, VMware Horizon and Hyper-V virtual servers and desktops, Rapid7 InsightIDR and InsightVM, SentinelOne Endpoint Protection and EDR, Hosted VoIP phone systems
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
5+ years of relevant IT support or help desk experience preferred
Familiarity with antivirus, vulnerability management, and patch management tools
Understanding of mobile devices and operating systems (Android and iOS)
Exposure to VMware or virtualization technologies is a plus
