Requirements

• Assist Craft Journeyman in the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
• Gather tools and supplies to be used at the work site according to the instructions.
• Measures, cuts and bends wire and conduit, using a ruler and hand tools.
• Drills holes for wiring, using power drill and pulls or pushes wiring through opening.
• Trace out short circuits in wiring, using knowledge of wiring and test meter.
• Assists in lifting, positioning or fastening objects.
• Performs minor repairs.
• May disassemble defective equipment, replace worn or defective parts and reassemble equipment.
