The HEOP Counselor serves as a vital resource in advancing student success through personalized and group advising, targeted academic programming, and holistic guidance. This role requires a strong commitment to student development, academic guidance, and comprehensive engagement.

What You Will Do

Provide comprehensive academic, personal, crisis, and financial advising to an assigned caseload of students. Create and maintain detailed and accurate student records. Support students in adjusting to college life, overcoming personal challenges, and developing skills for academic and personal success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social sciences, or a related field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
