Job Description
The Herbicide Applicator is responsible for the safe and effective application of herbicides to control unwanted vegetation.

Requirements

  • Maintain strong relationship with Corporate, clients, and potential clients with good communication practices
  • Prepare herbicide solutions according to product labels and safety data sheets
  • Apply herbicide solutions using appropriate equipment
  • Maintain company vehicle and equipment operational
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and best management practices
  • Inspect and survey areas for weed infestations, identifying potential issues, and recommending appropriate treatment plans
  • Clean, service, and perform minor repairs on application equipment
  • Adhere to Operations Security (OPSEC) standard operations procedures
  • Adhere to Property Control Plan for management of Government Furnished Property (GFP)
  • Maintain a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP) in accordance with Appendix A, EM 385-1-1
