Role OverviewDeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is looking for a motivated and skilled Hi-Rail Technician with a positive attitude, strong ethics, mechanical expertise, and a strong focus on safety. This position involves spraying herbicide across various railroads and managing the maintenance and operation of trucks and equipment.
What You Will Do
Supervise and manage all jobs/contracts assigned, apply herbicides for weed, grass, and brush control, handle daily routing and scheduling tasks, perform daily tank mixing of chemicals, conduct truck inspections, and maintain daily and weekly records.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be 21+ years of age, have a valid state drivers license with at least 5 years of clean driving history, and be willing to travel away from home for up to 4-6 weeks at a time.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Valid state drivers license with at least 5 years of clean driving history
- Commercial Pesticide Applicator License is preferred
- Pass a pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, and background check
