High School Advisory and Electives Teacher

The High School Advisory and Electives Teacher will consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure that each child successfully completes their instructional program. The teacher will be responsible for the successful completion of various tasks, including supporting the instructional program, communicating with parents and students, and developing a general knowledge of the entire program's K-12 curriculum.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the High School Advisory and Electives Teacher include supporting the instructional program with web conferencing sessions, communicating with parents and students, and developing a general knowledge of the entire program's K-12 curriculum. The teacher will also be responsible for completing grading and conducting parent conferences in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Highly qualified and certified to teach grades 9-12 in Kansas
• Applicants with a current teaching license from another state will be considered, provided they can transfer or obtain a Kansas teaching license upon hire
• Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Highly organized and punctual
