Job Description
The High School ELA Interventionist works with the “At-Risk” student population to provide remediation to support academic goals to increase growth in these areas. This is a full-time position that requires a Michigan Teaching Certification and the ability to work independently. The position involves modifying and/or adapting the K12 curriculum, collaborating with general education teachers, and providing ongoing training and support to school/district staff regarding RTI and data collection procedures.

Requirements

  • Michigan Teaching Certification
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active state teaching license
  • Ability to clear required background check
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data
  • Ability to receive coaching regularly with administrators and teacher trainers
  • Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs and curriculum
