Role Overview

The High School Flag Football Coach will be responsible for organizing practices and games, monitoring the academic progress of student athletes, and communicating with coaches and athletic directors. The coach will prioritize academics over athletics and ensure that student-athletes are in the best physical condition possible. The coach will also be responsible for collecting athlete documentation and staying with the team until the last student-athlete and their parents/guardians.

What You Will Do

The coach will organize practices and games, monitor the academic progress of student athletes, and communicate with coaches and athletic directors. The coach will also be responsible for providing an orientation to all student athlete participants, issuing and collecting uniforms, and training each student-athlete to become in the best physical condition as possible.

The candidate should have 0-3 years of coaching experience, strong knowledge of specific sport including rules, terminology, etc., and a valid certification for both CPR and AED use from a nationally recognized organization.

  • Must hold a valid certification for both CPR and AED use from a nationally recognized organization, or attend a district required training to become certified within a given time frame
