Role Overview

As a Club Leader, you will ensure a fun and positive learning environment for club participants, support clubs of approximately 20 children, and have the opportunity to grow, connect, play, and have the greatest impact on each of their club participants. You will be responsible for ensuring students are in a safe environment, promoting an inclusive and welcoming environment, and developing and leading age-appropriate program activities.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring students are in a safe environment, monitoring participant attendance and engagement, building positive relationships with program participants and colleagues, and collaborating with colleagues and supervisor to develop culminating activities or events.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience working in expanded learning programs or youth recreational facilities
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience working with groups of K-12 students in an academic or recreational setting preferred
  • Valid LIVE Scan, TB Clearance, and CPR Certification
  • Must successfully pass an assessment test evaluating skills in math, reading comprehension, and spelling
