High School Spanish/ Seminar Teacher - YES Prep Northline Secondary

As a High School Spanish/Seminar Teacher at YES Prep Northline Secondary, you will be responsible for developing rigorous lessons in your specific content area, setting ambitious goals with your students, and tracking student growth. You will also be expected to build transformable relationships with students and families, create a physical or virtual classroom environment conducive to learning, and collaborate with co-planners to work through daily lesson plans.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and delivering lessons, setting and monitoring student progress, providing regular communication with parents, and working with content teams to improve student learning. You will also be responsible for conducting weekly tutorials, completing supervision duties, and persisting in the face of challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB)
• Texas Educator Certification, or willing to join ACP to get certified
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology
• Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms
