Role Overview

As a Highway Coordinator/EIT at HDR, you will provide project engineering/project delivery supports with a focus on transportation projects and public transportation clients throughout the Southern California Region. You will work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.

What You Will Do

Provide project engineering/project delivery supports, work on detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects, take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates, and provide assistance with technical reports, specifications and calculations.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for an Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate holder or someone who can obtain it within 12 months. You should be proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, and have familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
  • Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d
